May!

Star Wars Day! Rey hair for all the girls.

We went to see Papa's choir concert.

We finally got chickens! The kids love them!

I love quiet Sundays at home! Scriptures, journals, baking, and the older kids work on their goals.

Ellie makes a new treat every Sunday. Her goal is to practice baking enough to make Jeffrey's Birthday cake all by herself!

Boston was awarded for his art piece at the district offices. Such a cool night!

And he got to pick where we ate dinner to celebrate. He picked 5 guys!

A cute girl down the street does dance class for the little girls. This was Gracie's dance performance! She was in class with her cute friend Jane.

Celebrating Papa's Birthday with the temple open house, dinner and cake!

Rylee's friend Lily

Retirement party for one of Boston's favorite teachers, Mrs. Gorham. This is the teacher that would fall asleep when she read aloud to his class. He thought it was pretty funny.

Tulip festival with Macey and Eloise!

Dance Performances! Ellie says she is done with dance after this year. Kinda makes me sad. Rylee absolutely loves it and wants to be a dancer when she grows up.

We got to visit Dad at work! We don't get to do this very often anymore. So this was a special treat!

Lots and lots of baseball games!

Rylee's Kindergarten Graduation!

Can't belive she's out of kindergarten. I'm so sad she'll be in full day school. I've loved spending extra time with the two younger girls.

She decided she was done taking pictures and refused to smile for me in front of the Dr. Suess sign. I told her these two picture would go down in history.

Ellie's last day of school

Geode Beds!
We took a short trip to Dugway to see the geode beds. Boston has been wanting to come here for so long, its just always way too hot before we get the chance to go. The kids spent hours digging and breaking open rocks. Rylee was so bored and wanted to leave the entire time, until she picked up her first rock, split it open and found the coolest white geode. And then she didn't want to leave haha.

Ellie's animal exhibit. She got to pick an animal to research and make an animal habitat in a shoe box. She picked a panda and asked if she could make one out of cake. She did such a good job! Her panda is so cute and fat.

Our Grandpa Tree was diagnosed with Stage 4 Melanoma. Its been pretty scary in our home since we found out. We decided to do something about it. Since May is Melanoma awareness month, we decided to do a small fundraiser to help them with medical bills. Jeffrey ordered wristbands, I sold cakes, and the kids wanted to set up an ice cream stand. They were out every Saturday through May selling ice cream, popcicles, treats, and sodas. Our neighborhood really came through and supported them like crazy. They were able to raise $300! It was cool to see all the neighbor kids who came to help, making and waving posters, and sitting outside in the heat. We were so touched and grateful for the chance to serve Grandpa Tree. The fear in our home left and was replaced with a feeling of love and peace. The power of service is real!
