October Happenings

This was a hard month. I completely ran out of milk, and out of the donated breastmilk. We introduced formula and Gracie was just not a fan. She was screaming constantly, always gassy, never content, and just not happy. We could not figure out how to fix it. Lots of tears all around.

Seeing the beauty off our back deck reminds me I'm not alone, Heavenly Father is watching over me.

How Rylee gets her snacks.

Gracie's ear imprint on Jeff's arm haha

This was how Gracie was most of October. Poor baby.

There were some smiles though...

And lots of chocolate....

We still made time to see the witches at Gardner Village

Caramel Apples

Had a "spooky" dinner

Provo Canyon Fire

This was the doctors appointment that finally did me in. I snapped these few pictures below right before she started screaming her brains out. I could not get her to stop, no matter what I did. This girl has made me feel like I forgot how to be a parent. The staff must have thought I was beating her. I was almost in tears myself when the pediatrician came in. Gracie immediately stopped liked his presense had some magical powers over her. She was dead silent, just staring at him. He talked me through different formula's to try, and we started going down the list to try and find one that worked. The only problem was, she had to be on a formula for 4 days before we knew if it was working or not. So the long day's continued until we came to Enfamil, which literally saved my life. No joke, she's an entirely different baby, and I'm adding the enfamil board of directors to my Christmas card list.

Sad sad baby :(

The kids entered the reflections contest at school and got honorable mentions in art. Great job!

We decided to go trick or treating in masks. I needed something happy.

It was a gorgeous night, and I was surprised to see so many creative social distance candy shutes!!

We then wiped down each piece of candy at home haha! The extra work was worth it.
