June Happenings

Patching up our backyard  - still doesn't look amazing, but its better than no grass!

Another sunrise...

Hike to Battle Creek Falls

I was taking the picture of Jeff and the kids above, when some guy came up to me and asked if I wanted to be in the picture. Without thinking, I said sure and handed him my phone. When he handed me the phone back, Boston said really loudly: "Are you going to sanitize your phone now?!" Yikes. And yes, I did haha.

Let the elephant ankles begin....

Sunset from the front of our house

Ellie's preschool graduation! First day of preschool to the last day :)

Camping at Granite Flats near Tibblefork

We walked down to the bathroom and were picking flowers while we waited for Jeff. There was an older couple right behind where the girls are standing below in their campsite. The older lady (who was a tad cranky) had opened the door to the RV and was yelling her husbands name. Rylee busted up laughing and yelled "Mom, that old lady is yelling: RON! RON!" haha. We promptly left, but it was the running joke for the rest of the trip to yell RON! at everyone.

The water was FREEZING, and it was pretty busy. So we didn't spend a ton of time on the water. But it was really cool to be surrounded by mountains on the kayak.

Boston spent lots of time fishing with no luck. He sure is patient when it comes to fishing. He loves it, even when he doesn't catch anything.

Virtual primary with the Tree family

Dad reading us stories before bed. We've been reading Harry Potter and the kids love it!

Rylee making everyone treat her like a princess after her birthday...

Kayaking at Deer Creek

These two kids are super speedy! They paddle circles around me, and love to chase each other.

Such a pretty rainbow!

Current Creek!

Boston asked to go fishing about a million times. He loves to fish, and caught lots! He brought home one and ate the whole thing. Way to go Boston!

Rylee doing her "tricks." She would stand, and pose, wait til everyone clapped, and then move to a different place to do another trick.

Ellie even caught a fish!

Knolls fire just south of our neighborhood. They evacuated a lot of people all the way up to the south end of our neighborhood. So help me, if we get evicted and evacuated from two different houses in a 6 month time period WE GIVE UP!!! Luckily we weren't!

My cute niece had her first birthday, and we had to miss it because of covid. Life is getting harder and harder in the quarantine....I hate it. But I'm so glad my sister asked me to make her a cake so it felt like we a part of it!
