8 Months

I am a few days late posting this, but you had your 8 month birthday a few days ago. Time seems to fly faster the older you get. You are so close to crawling! You can army crawl for a little bit and then get frustrated and want to be picked up. Dad and I think you're starting to sing. When they play hymns during church you make lots of noise! Its very cute. You've started eating your baby food, love mango's and banana's and applesauce. You don't like vegetables very much, but I trick you and give you a spoonful of fruit, and then sneak in a spoonful of vegetables. You always shudder when you taste the vegetables :-) You are a happy baby, and everyone who see's you likes to play with you. You are very popular in church, especially with the older ladies! Sister Giles calls you her Grand Student. When dad and I sit down to eat, you want to be sitting with us, and eating what we eat. Anytime we take a bite of anything, and you see it, you start to cry and babble and reach for it. We give you little tastes of our food, and then you cry and reach for more. Silly baby! You make me so happy! We love you!

Rodeo!

Wow, what a fun summer we've had!!! We headed back up to Heber last week for Fair Days! Fair Days is always so much fun, but it was even more fun with you this year. We went to the parade, got popsicles, and candy, and watched the big fire trucks, and police motorcycles. We got to go to the Rodeo, and Grandpa Tree told you that you can now say: "Its not my first Rodeo!" :-) You got to see bulls, and horses, and big trucks! We watched bull riding, barrel racing, mutton busting, team roping, stick horse races and all sorts of fun stuff. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Tree for a fun weekend!

Fast asleep...

Playing at the Park

Dad and I took you to play at the park! You went down a little slide all by yourself, and had fun playing peekaboo in the tunnels with Daddy. We had a picnic lunch, and you got a hold of a big bag of Sour Patch Kids, and then realized the bag wasn't closed all the way. Surprise!! Merry Christmas Boston, a whole bag of candy right in your lap. We have so much fun with you Boston, we can't even remember what life was like before you. Wait, no that's a lie. Up with you at 2am, I definitely remember what life was like before you. Haha! I guess what i'm saying is I wouldn't change it :-) We love you!

Isn't this the cutest picture ever?

Bear Lake

Our family headed back up to Bear Lake for a second family trip with the Roberts side. We stayed at a cute little cabin lakeside, and had a great time! We rented a water trampoline, which was a blast, other than me swimming into the metal latter a few times. I had a great bruise running down the front of my face.  Great Grandma Petersen came to see us all, and brought us yummy cinnamon rolls. She and Grandma gave you your first Nilla Wafer, and you loved it! Yum! Papa brought all the grandkids bubbles and sand toys. Yay! You like to play with sand toys. You also liked to reach down and grab fistfuls of mud, and then put them in your mouth. That was fun. Aunt Chelsey and Uncle Jordan brought inflatable rafts, which you took a fabulous nap in out on the water. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Roberts for the fun vacation!
