7 Months Old

Happy 7 month birthday Boston! You can now sit up completely by yourself. You clap your hands, have started to wave (a little) and babble blah blah, da da and ma ma. It is very cute. When you get mad, you start babbling and spitting and your face gets red. You grab everything within reach, and it goes straight to your mouth, unless its baby food of course. We struggle every night to get you to eat fruits and vegetables. Seriously...you don't like fruit! I guess we'll keep trying. You love to be upside down and tossed in the air, and love to be in the water. We go swimming in the big pool outside, and also got you a little pool for our balcony that you like to splash in.
We just had your 6 month doctor's visit last week. Your Pediatrician loves you! She says over and over again every time she see's you that you're "yummy." So much so, that i'm a little concerned she actually might eat you! She told us that you are so cute we could make money off your face! We already knew that, but its nice to know we're not biased in our opinion. You weigh 20.4 lbs, and are 27 1/4 inches long. You are in the 91% for your head, 81% for your weight, and 74% for height. You got more shots, hence the pool, and also some cool Toy Story sippy cups. They change color with temperature. Yeah, i'm pretty jealous!
You got your first haircut a few weeks ago. We took a razor and just trimmed the 10 long hairs on the top of your head. I almost cried when we did it, you look so much older! Older, but very cute. I like that we can style your hair now. Can't believe we've had you for 7 months! We love you!

115 degrees....and rising

We all just about melted this last weekend. Took a trip to St. George to visit Boston's long lost Uncle Tyler, and his cute little cousins. We all got to meet baby Ryker!  We cooled off in the pool, and tried to stay inside. Tyler took us to Firehouse subs and Boston got a cute little fireman hat! However, leaving it in the car pretty much mutilated it. Bummer.We also went to Swig. If you're a fan of soda, I would highly recommend it! Its a little drive-in shack that serves drinks. Non-alcoholic drinks of course! They have dozens of fruit puree's, and different flavor add-ins for your favorite drinks. Yum!  Perfect for a whopping 115 degree day. We may or may not have gone for seconds :-) Thanks Tyler for a fun weekend!

Halfway to 50...

Happy Birthday to me! Nothing like knowing you're on your way to 50. Got to spend the day with my favorite people! I know what you're thinking, and no, I did not spend the day with Ryan Reynolds or Chris Hemsworth.  Jeffy took me to Tucanos for dinner, which, by the way is FANTASTIC!! I probably would have had more room for dinner had I not been guzzling the Brazilian lemonade! It was so good. After dinner he took me shopping, which is probably his least favorite thing to do...ever! I didn't buy anything, but the fact that he walked in each and every girlie store giving me his opinion on this and that was worth more than anything I could have spent money on. We then went to see Man of Steel with my brothers and sisters. We had a great time!! Superman was hot, and I guess the rest of the movie was pretty good too :-) Also went to dinner with both sets of parents, and had a fun shopping day with my mom! I got pretty spoiled. Bring on year 25!
