Boston's Baptism and Gracie's Blessing

Such a special day for our family! We are so grateful that our extended family was still able to watch over zoom. We are so proud of Boston and the good decisions he makes. He is such a special boy. I know I'm biased, but he really is just a great kid. He loves his sisters, is so thoughtful, always tries his best, loves the scriptures, loves learning about Jesus (He and I are really into the tv show "The Chosen" right now) He falls asleep reading his scriptures almost every night. Not because he's bored, but because he reads them so much. (He and I are in a race. He's beating me by a couple chapters right now haha) He asked for a journal for Christmas, but we got him one for his birthday so he'd have it for his baptism, and writes in it almost every day. You can just tell he is trying to do good things and wants to be the best boy he can be. We are so proud.

Boston was adamant that he embarrass Ellie in some way or another by participating in his program. He settled on having her help Papa lead the music. She was so embarrassed, and he was thrilled at that fact ha! The primary challenged him to pray before he picked his program, and rely on revelation for who should participate. He prayed and layed out the program by himself. It was neat!

Boston's Uncles were all able to give him the missionary discussions prior to the baptism. It was such a special way to have them be a part of the baptism even though they weren't able to be in person. He loved meeting with them and learning from them!

We are so grateful for our wonderful grandparents, and so grateful they were able to join us in person!

We got lucky with the best of the best in the grandparent department!

One of my favorite pictures...

Jeff did such a great job. He always does. But today was so special.

So grateful these two got to share their special day with each other. They have a pretty special bond, these two! I bet you're wondering how many more times can I fit the word "special" into this post :)

Can't wait to recreate these photos when he's ordained a deacon, teacher, priest, etc and maybe on either of their wedding days?? (Insert horrified emoji)

All my babies on their blessing days :)
