Welp, what can I say. Here goes another one! We found out the end of September that we were expecting another baby. I had some mild sickness, but easy enough to hide that we decided to make it a surprise and wait to tell everyone. We spilled the beans around Thanksgiving. We were all convinced it was a boy. I hadn't been very sick, and Boston really really wanted a boy! I was 90% sure we were going to see BOY written on all the ultrasound pics. We went in on December 29th for our gender ultrasound, and low and behold, we are having another GIRL! We were all dumbfounded. Boston was sitting on Jeff's lap saying no, just over and over again. I felt so bad for him, and being as emotional as I was cried all the way home. Not because of disappointment, but because Boston really wanted a brother! It didn't take him long to warm up to the idea, he says as long as he gets a brother next. We all are still pretty shocked, but are so excited to have another little girl in our family!

Christmas Fun
We had a wonderful Christmas this year! We spent lots of time with family, got to talk to Uncle Dustin (who sounds amazing!) and enjoyed time together just our little family. Ellie was so fun this year, she was completely amazed that Santa ate the cookies and drank the milk. She came upstairs, and didn't even care about the presents, just said over and over, "milk all gone! Ate the cookies all gone!" It was so cute. Boston was thrilled that Santa remembered he wanted a bike and a remote control truck, but was even more excited when Ellie opened her Minnie Mouse kitchen and started yelling, I wanted that for her! She got it, and I wanted it for her! Ha ha. We were all spoiled, and enjoyed going to church, then afterwards talking to Dustin for TWO whole hours! It was awesome! The kids were so excited to see him, and kept their faces right in front of the screen. We can't wait to talk to him again on Mothers Day.
The week before Christmas we found out Boston got Impetigo. Honestly, it just looked like a bad break out to me, and before that, just dry skin. Whoops. Luckily it cleared up so we were able to enjoy Christmas!
We love our family and love this time of year! Always sad when it ends.

Boston's 4th Birthday!
Wow, I've been a mom for 4 years. It feels like so much longer ;)
I spent the night before Boston's birthday going through old pictures and videos. We started out laughing, and before I knew it, I was ugly sob crying watching cute little 2 year old Boston talk about dinosaurs, or watching him talk to a little baby Ellie. Jeff was staring at me like I was nuts. I spend so much time wishing them out of certain phases, that I don't realize how much I miss them til its gone. I've definitely been taking advantage of every moment with each of them lately. Really appreciating each day and each accomplishment. I wish he would stop growing up. After sobbing for a good hour, I got it out of my system, and was golden for the rest of the birthday. No tears!
I let Boston pick his birthday breakfast, which he of course chose cinnamon rolls, so we had breakfast and put a candle in his roll. He spent the morning with one of his friends, and then I took him out to McDonald's for lunch. Daddy took half a day off and we met him at Jump Around (just a big arena of bounce houses and a jungle gym) and let the kids go to town. They had a blast! We would do it again for sure!
We decided this year for Boston's birthday not to do a big family party. I get so torn on whether to have them or not, but this year, with so many grandkids, i just decided it was one less thing for everyone else to worry about especially at Christmastime. So we had grandparents come to dinner and had cake and ice cream after. Boston's favorite place to eat is PIZZA PIE! He loves pizza pie cafe. As much as he can eat of pizza, pasta, and dessert. Not going to lie, I enjoy that place probably just as much as he does. haha. He wanted a dinosaur birthday party this year, so we made him a dino cake and he got a lot of fun toys from Grandma's and Grandpa's. He also got to open a special present from Uncle Dustin, who bought the nephews and nieces presents before he left. He got a cool little lego ship. It was so sweet. Thank goodness my ugly crying was out of my system, so everyone was spared at that moment.
Here are some b-day pics, as well as pics throughout the year of little Boston! We just love him so much!

Ellie - 18 months
She says prayers at dinner time and keeps her arms folded and her eyes closed....most of the time. Boston has had some pretty long winded prayers lately and the other night he was going on and on and on, and she was struggling to wait to eat till it was over. In the middle of him talking, she just says: Jesus, Amen, and starts eating haha. Boston was so mad! The prayer isn't over, Ellie! No-no!
Ellie has a ton of nicknames. They all just sort of migrated from cute nicknames, to funny ones. Boston calls her Ells-a-bells, or Jells-a-bells, which kinda sounds like Jezebell, which Jeff has started calling her when she's ornery. She is also called, Jells, Ells, Ellie belly, Ellie-belly-jelly-bean-sweetheart (when Boston is feeling silly) and Smelly Bean lol.
Her favorite foods are: well, maybe coming up with a list of food she doesn't like would be easier haha. She loves cheese, like i said before, boiled eggs (she'll eat like 5 of them if I let her) banana's, cold cereal, crackers, grapes, apples, rice and pasta.
She has been going to nursery for the last several months since she is just too rowdy in Gospel Doctrine. Especially when Jeff is teaching, she will run up to him and start climbing on random things, the whiteboard, the chairs, tables etc The nursery leader just came and got her and she didn't have a problem going! We've recently switched nursery leaders, so that has been hard on her.
She really is a sweet addition to our home. She makes us laugh, is silly and goofy, and no matter how many times she gets in trouble, I always am laughing at her on the inside. She makes us ALL extremely happy! We seriously can't help but smile when she's around!
