Girls Camp 2018

Another girls camp in the books! This my 4th year with the Georgetown Girls. While going as a leader is much different than going as a youth, the spirit and love felt at girls camp will always remain the same. I'm grateful for the memories, lessons, and friendships that I've made in this calling. My leaders are fantastic, and I'm so grateful to be backed up by such amazing women. We killed our stake lunch, laughed until we cried, crafted until our fingers just about bled, convinced the priesthood to wear facial masks, almost caught some snipes, ate good food, sang songs well into the night, and felt the spirit as we shared our testimonies. I'm calling this a success!

This girl got to spend her birthday with us AGAIN this year. Poor thing!
She told her mom that she loves being at girls camp on her birthday, that its the best! Awww!

Best priesthood leaders ever!

One of the best traditions...I think ;)

I was bound and determined to redeem ourselves from 2 years ago with our stake meal this year. I think we succeeded. They loved our soda stand and when we offered seconds on the mac n cheese, people were running up for more. Yeah, my head is swelling just a tad. Its so nice to have a girls camp where the majority of things go RIGHT! Whoohoo!

Took me forever to come up with some of the drink names...
Our burdens object lesson on the last day.
After carrying our "burdens" all day long, we all placed them in front of the Savior.
